Good day I am the proud owner of a 1998 Seadoo Challenger 1800 Twin 110HP Rotax. I replaced both engines recently cause just thought it was time to compression on previous engines had gone down and one constantly was melting rave valve tops. Anyways I took the boat out for the first time since replacing engines and the RH engine full throttle keeps bogging up and down from 7200-5000 RPM's this also has new wear ring, rebuilt pump and impeller, along with 2 new rave valves. What can cause the engine to bog like this??

The LH Engine starts up and idles PERFECT but when I give it full throttle will only rev up to 4000RPM or completely shut off. I just purchased brand new carbs from Mikuni for this engine but is there anything else that can be causing this problem??

RH engine - Sounds like a possible exhaust leak? Is there exhaust in the bilge when running the boat? You can run it in the water with the "hood" up, just don't go too fast.

LH engine - Does it sound like it is misfiring at 4k, or smooth at 4k. Shutting off is BAD. Could be seizing. You say you bought new carbs, but did you adjust the fuel settings, verify the jet sized and pop off before installing them?

Where should I check for exhaust leak on RH engine?? I don't see any apparent leaks.

LH Engine has 150 compression front and PTO cylinder verified again today. The new carbs just arrived today have not installed them yet. What's the best way to route the fuel lines between carbs?

Check for leaks by running it.

Route the fuel hoses the same way they are routed now.
