  • 2002 seadoo gti le all of a sudden no spark

Last week i had my 02 gti le out and out of no where out in the gulf it died on me, after a few minutes cranking it over it started and went about 20ft and died again.i initially thought i was just out of gas and my reserve was not working....i went ahead and stopped in at sbt and got a new wear ring and drive shaft rebuild..once done i filled it with gas and still no start.. Upon further inspection i learned i have no spark. There is a verry small pulsing current going to the coil while cranking it over (about 3v)..new plugs, and all fuses are good.

Check your grounds and ground wires, snip the plug wires back 1/4" to reveal fresh copper, how is the battery?

My ski only has one main ground wire from the battery to the block, the coil has a few grounds on it and all are good. Ill try the wire trick...im not sure what the voltage should be to the coil but it did get a little bit. I took the magneto cover off but looks like i need to get some more tools to pull the flywheel off...
