Synchronization btw crankshaft and balance shaft ?

    Synchronization btw crankshaft and balance shaft ?

    Hi guys

    İ have broken the camshaft chain and i had 3 slightly broken teeth on the crank gear.
    So i removed the gear with a hot press and remanufactured a new gear like the oem.
    İ installed the new one by hot press but now there is 4-5 degrees difference btw the oem and the new installed. i can adjust the timing with the timing gear on the camshaft i think, but the main problem is do i need a synchronization btw the crank and balance shaft ? Does balance shaft is a part of the "balance of crankshaft" ?
    Does anybody knows

    crank and balancer do need to be aligned, marks are on both, they have to be matched up.

      Because i removed the gear i cant put it on the same degree as i removed it.
      Does 2-3 degrees acceptable and in tolerance or not?

        You may have problems with it, it needs to go back to the same location.

              i am planning to send mine as core today and buy a refurbished one from you if you dont charge me extra for the gear.
              And also how many days does it take you to send my new crank after you received my core ?
