  • 1995 Seadoo SPI 587 Initial carb adjustment

I justed installed a SBT 587 engine in my 1995 Seadoo SPI.
I disassembled the carburetor and cleaned it along with new carb kit.(don't have pop off tester so I installed original spring)
While I was removing the high speed needle adj screw the plastic limiter cap came off and I lost track of adjustment.
I know the low speed initial adj is 1 1/4 turns but everything I read says the high is 0 ?
I know the limiter plastic cap only allows a small adjustment but what is the initial adjustment when you re-install the high speed needle after carb cleaning?

Any help would greatly be appreciated!!

0 is correct. That means lightly seated not cranked down super hard. Just twist the high speed all the way in and put the cap on (the cap only allows 1/4 turn).
