1995 sp bogs down after getting on plane

I have a 1995 sp with a single carb, This old dog finally let me down (but hopefully not for long). After initial take off ski seems to lose fuel and start to bog down. It also seems to have a little delay upon starting. I cleaned the fuel filter or screen. I wonder if there is an in tank filter or in carb filter? The ski will eventually shut down. It also seems like if I switch back and fourth from and it works better for a small bit Any help would be appreciated. This ski is also a very clean fresh water ski

You need a complete fuel system cleaning. The carb does have an internal filter, which is probably clogged. Your fuel selector switch sounds like it could be cleaned up too!
