2005 RXT Wont go past 6,450RPM and Lost 12MPH........I'm assuming this is the supercharger that needs to be overhauled?

Very possible! I would suggest not running it until you get a chance to have it inspected.

Thanks Dan "The Ski Man", this ski has 92hrs on her so I'm gonna probably get the rebuild and tool kit regardless. I will re-post the results! Thanks again for the not only the help but reassurance!

Looks like you are going to handle this yourself? If the washers have blown out, then you will need to pull the motor and remove the front and rear oil pump covers and flush out the system. There will be pieces of ceramic washers that have impaled into the filter screens. Also, look for damage to the oil pump impellers and housing/mating surfaces.


Not doing this opens up risk to having a complete engine failure due to continued damage to the lubrication system.

Update: Took the supercharger out and not only are the washers missing but the supercharger impeller got beat up too. Ordered a new semi-upgrade supercharger impeller from R&D and Supercharger rebuild kit from SBT. Next step, pull the engine and flush the oil system.
