    6000 rpms then shuts off??

    I have a 94 xp and just rebuilt the top end. I bought it with a hole in the rear (pto) piston. It ran fine through break in and after that it ran good. Then it got to where it would shut off once in a while. Now it does it every time you hit 6000 rpms, but if you hold down the start button it will go ahead and run like nothing is wrong.

        Compression was 140 in both. I found the 5 amp fuse was blown. Replaced it and all is well.
