Have a 1996 Sea Doo that beeped once and wouldn't start. Ended up being dess key got new one programmed and now is fine. Just curious,what normally make the keys go bad?

The key has a chip in it; the computer is what holds the keys chip i.d. in memory, its not normal for it to happen but does sometimes.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Yes they do have magnets to trigger the electrical on, but the chip is the part that gives connection through the security system.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
