Hello, just got done putting a sbt 587 motor in a 1992 gts. I received the ski as a project so i have no history of it. I went to fire up the ski and realized it had no spark. After cranking on it for a bit and doing all the forum tricks, i got it to fire and then it died and would not start up. I purchased an electrical box from a 1995 sea doo sp on ebay and connected it up. I got it running but i believe there is a difference between the 1992 "stop button" and the 1995 start/stop button connection that would be used with the 1995 sp box. Is this true, do i need to get a switch that says start/stop and not just a stop switch? Any help is appreciated.
