Hi !!
I just rebuilt a 1993 seadoo xp with a new jug exchange and top end, carb. rebuild, needle and seats, and all new upper gaskets. This ski has the oil pump block off kit. My problem is it will start just fine but if it idles a bit too long when you go to accelerate it will not go past about 4000rpm. If I hold the throttle open all the way and it is staying at 4000rpm and I turn the fuel switch off, about 2 seconds later the ski just takes off and revs out perfect then I turn the fuel back to "on" and it will run just fine in the upper rpm range. I was actually having this problem before the rebuild. The only thing I forgot to do, is check the pop off pressure !!! Could that be causing the carbs to load up with fuel at idle?
Any information will greatly help !! Thanks !!
