2000 seadoo rx

After riding one day we pulled the plugs on the back of the ski to drain the water out. Pieces of gray metal came out. My husband looked into it and we found the the case had crumbled by the counterwaited crankshaft. What the hell happened? It still runs. We were doing 65mph on the water no problem. Do I need a new engine.

That "case" holds oil if I am thinking of the correct part you are referring to.

It wont run much longer, you have to get it in for repair ASAP>
