93xp tricky little booger-stalls out then runs like a champ

ok, so the ski will run great- but my kid has had this occur 3 times, and the last one we couldn't get refired on the water.....it stalls out...dies...like the lanyard was pulled out. I have noticed one consistent thing..its at higher speeds and throttle almost mashed..I suspect a fuel pump issue...now the fuel gauge does not work on this thing either...so could the sending unit be causing an issue??? I am going to see if the diaphram is sticking...regqardless..Im gonna rebuild the pump I suspect....anyone else got any ideas?
The plugs were dry after this happened...btw....

Go through the complete fuel system, fuel lines, filters and carbs, make sure to replace gray fuel lines if it has them and clean out the internal filters in the carbs.
