What are the acceptable Amsoil products for The Bombardier 787 Rotax engine? Seadoo XPS (obviously) but its hard to choke down the price. Amsoil Interceptor is noted a couple of times in the forum as an acceptable alternative. But, what about Amsoil's Saber and Saber Outboard? Both are rated as API TC grade and I use Saber professional in my air-cooled scale aircraft engine mixed at 100:1 so i know it works in that configuration. Reading Amsoil's marketing material the Outboard Saber should work, and it would save tons of cash over the long haul. Any professional advice out there?
I'm currently running the 787 on a 1997 GTX. I have been through all the SBT break-in oil and am now running XPS in a pre-mix in the fuel tank. Running great but with some sticking carburetor needle valves (on order). Thanks for the good forum.
