I had the ski out this weekend and it was running fine with the exception of a miss. Then it stopped running , but it would run as the start switch was engaged and then stop. So start /stop, start /stop I got it back to the dock. As I tried to restart it t the dock it would just spin and foul the plugs. I took off the carb and cleaned it and put it back on and it started back up a couple of times but only while the switch was engaged and then fouled the plugs again. I pulled it out of the water spun it a couple of times and it started right up and ran great. Idled, revved no problems plenty of power. On a side note, last year and earlier this summer I had a problem when I ran any distance and turned the ski off I would have to hold the throttle wide open to get it to restart, thats why I thought it was the carb. I don't know much about these things so any help would be appreciated!

If it runs good on land but not in the water then it is probably a rotary valve clearance issue.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
