Fault Code 2003 GTX 4-Tec

My machine had a check engine message. I checked the fault code and it indicated a P0505. I checked that code and found out it was "

DLA output stage cutoff memory cuircut or output stage fault or open circuit or short to 12V" . Any ideas? where to look? I did find that my negative battery post was loose. Could that have been my problem or should I take it in?
