Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that set the base timing then to set the ignition timing you have to use an electronic programmer? I'm still a little new at this and I took my magneto off the flywheel when striping the engine to send in to SBT. I couldn't find any markings to put it back on properly so that I know the timing is set back to where it was. I looked in my manual and thought I would post because Tech Support posted that there is no such adjustment.
First of all, the picture of the 787 magneto shouldn' have been posted in this thread regarding a 717 in the first place. Second, no there is no manual adjustment on a 787.
If you guys want to talk about a 787 start a new thread. Closed.
