Ski was running then had exhaust issues that I repaired. Before removing exhaust I started motor to ensure that no water had gotten into motor. Had exhaust repaired. Installed all back and went to start. Got 2 beeps as normal but before I could hit start button got 4 long beeps like a jet boat not in neutral. I have MPEM programmer and hooked up can read engine hours and add key, but will not start through programmer. Replaced MPEm and still have same thing. Any ideas ??

No unit won't even crank. I only hooked up programmer to verify communication link. After installing lanyard and getting 2 beeps I hit start button and get 4 beeps. If I don't immediatly hit start button I get 4 beeps after couple seconds .Comment

4 long beeps would be MPEM cannot communicate with the DC CDI module this is 787 engines. Check the fuse on the relay in the front electrical box or on the MPEM.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Checked fuses and they were good. Replaced relay w/ known good unit and now get two beeps and unit starts as normal. Thanks so much for your help!!!Comment
