1992 sp wont start removed kill wire from coil . original problem was in the stator it had no spark at all . replaced it and the coil but now only firing on #1 cylinder. re installed old coil it sparks on both cylinders . the motor acts now like a fuel problem . it was running fine last year. cleaned carb but may be pluged again .so do you think the new coil is bad or another problem?

put old coil on . weak spark. to no spark. 26volts out of the stator tried to time stator but timing off to far to adj inComment

us post office lost broken coil . finally got replacement coil, that to care of problem. so either coil caused stator to go bad or stator caused coil to go bad. important thing is the stator voltage output is not in service manual.Comment
