I have a oil line about 18 inches long that goes from the oil tank to the bottom of the crankcase that leaks. I took it off and replaced it with some black plastic hose from Home Depot, as that was the only place that had 1/2 I.D. The oil does not leak anymore. Will this be ok for now till I can get the proper oil hose or should I not take a chance on running motor with this hose. Thanks

look up tygon hose on net, to see whats in your local area , you can find it in different sizes, go to a lawnmower repair shop, they have rolls of it in all different sizes, also have the 3/32 size for oil injectionComment
