Recently rebuilt pump. I would like to know if there is a solution to removing old oil without removing entire pump assembly. Oil has been drained of salt water and oil. Can I flush whats left, out, put new oil back in and keep flushing this way or is there a better way. I can remove pump, but would prefer not to. Believe leak was on cap through the O-ring. Thanks

Thanks for the quick response. On further searching, I did notice a hairline crack in pump housing. Will continue draining and refilling every weekend I take it out, till pump is replaced. Have leaking "O" Ring, oil filler hole and crack. 400.00 is well worth all the fun we have had.Originally posted by Technical Support View PostComment

Installed new cone O-ring, marine epoxied crack and thread sealant on allen screw and so far no water visible in pump oil. Will watch for now.Comment
