Hi,
As the title suggests, the oil pressure light is now on after a carb removal and cleaning.
Leading up to it, the seadoo was hard starting after pulling it out of storage over the winter. Following some of the great info on SBT, I removed and cleaned the carb (pretty clean) and replaced most of the grey fuel lines (major ones yes, some of the minor ones to the fuel selector switch not yet).
Now after reassembling everything, seadoo starts pretty good, but the oil pressure light is on. I have read the switches can be unreliable in certain models, but since I had no oil pressure light issues last year prior to storage, I'm thinking that I may have messed something up.
Additional vague bits of info: Up starting, (starts better now), there is smoke so it's receiving some oil to the cylinders. I didn't let it run long, checked the plug to see if it was oily and see some oil. Would guess that it seems less oily than last year (maybe) but can't really tell as plugs were pretty well used and it just may have been accumulation. Looked at the other oil line to the engine (which is clear), seems to be oil in about 3/4 of the line and air in the top quarter from the oil tank. Never really took a good look at this line before so don't know if it is usually like this, or whether it needs some priming or bleeding to get the oil line full.
Any suggestions very much appreciated.
