Neoprene seal - how to install?

Greetings,

Have my SBT delrin wear rings and neoprene seals for my '96 Speedster and want to make sure I'm installing these right. I'm assuming the wear ring's grooved end goes fore and the neoprene seal is applied to the pump support?

Thanks - does the inside rim of the neoprene seal go completely outside of the lip on the wear ring? Finally, which way does the sticky side face, fore or aft?

The neoprene seal goes flat against the pump support sticking forward to the pump support.
