Seadoo 98 xp limited cut wires??

Iv recently picked up a seadoo and having issues getting it to spark I think somebody had the mpem open so I'm ussuming that where the problem lies but there been Cupple wires cut on one of plugs coming out of mpem the numbers on plugs are
23. Black with gray trace
8. Purple with gray trace
I don't want to find out that that's y it not running
Any one tell me wot they should go or do

I think they are the wires to control the solenoid that opens the RAVE valves.

Any idea y they might be cut?
