Ok, just got my New Engine from SBT, and pulled the caps from the RAVE Valves off the old engine. What is a good setting to start with on the adjustment . As it is right now, the adjuster is almost half way down...

Just leave it where it is, it's just changing the point where the valves open. You can try different settings if ou like, to see if it feels better one way or the other.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
