  • What Seadoo I have?

    I'm amateur with watercraft, I bought a Seadoo XP Bombardier /95 (yellow) what is the tech. model and cc. , I have to order a crankshaft or may be a complete engine, What model should I have to choose?

    If it's just the XP, not the XP800, it takes the 717(720).

        Look at the engine - it's it sits straight up and down it's a 720. If it's slanted on it's side it's an 800. It will also say 'XP800' on the sides of the ski.

          i think the xp 800's are all yellow, and have a sticker on the side that says xp800

          a 720cc xp is white with some yellow and purple trim

            I'm going to work on it, to see if I can fix it.

            I have experience with motorcicles, let see what happend with this baby. God help me !

              Do you know, where I can find a manual or instructions to take out the crankshaft?

                There aren't any full rebuild instructions - that would take a book...that's why they have Service Manuals, and I suggest you get one - there are a ton of thing you need to know and it's already there.

                www.parkeryamaha.com has good prices on OEM manuals.

                  i would just get a sbt motor. i rebuilt my motor myself with some help and if i could do it all over i would get an sbt.

                    I think I'll to replace the all engine with sbt, but I'm going to play with it this weekend to see if I can safe some buks and just replace the crankshaft.

                          A.W. and sons in houston gets a lot of his engines and Cranks from SBT. I'm sure he would install it, and check out the rest of the boat to make sure it is done right the first time. I can give you his # if you are interested.
