  • 1500 rpm idle 2000 Gtx Rfi

Can't quite get it to idle at 1500 rpm's. Either is above 1600 or below 1400 when using idle adjustment.

Also how much does it throw of the alignment for the oil pump when adjusting the idle

    Any tips? Thanks

Idle adjustment needs to be set by a dealer's MPEM programmer, or their B.U.D.S. system. The RFI has a "mapped" fuel and ignition program based on the throttle's idle stop setting. when you adjust the idle without resetting the mappped progam, you can seriously degrade the overall performance of the PWC.

You now need to take it to the dealer for ajustment, if you messed with the screws yourself. There is nothing you can adjust on an injected motor at home.
SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

when I put the new sbt motor in and fired it up the rpms were below 1400, so that is why i messed with the screw.

        thanks for the help
