  • Checking needle and seat.

Is there a way to check the needle and seat without taking the carbs off using a pressure gauge?

no, in order to check pop-off you have to disassemble the carbs.

We check them without disassembling them.

Place the PO pump hose onto the "in" fitting and cover the return fitting with your finger.

Thanks for the help. Another question, in my manual it says to check the fuel pump operation to hook a hose to the "in" and blow in and out to make sure the check is working properly. Does this only apply to the MAG side? This supplies the other carb also, correct?

Only a carb with a pump, yes - and be careful breathing in fuel vapors. No Factory manual states such a procedure that I'm aware of. I would use a vacuum gauge if you have one.

I have the factory Sea Doo CD and it tells how to do it. It just says to be careful not to inhale the gas. Thanks for the info.
