After 45 min. of running perfect starts cutting out on 1 cylinder. 1 plug lite brown other dark brown. after it cools down runs fine again for the same time. Carb cleaning? rave valves ?and how to !

That sounds like a similiar problem i am having on my 97 XP, except mine runs fine after it is warmed up, it does that when it is cold. It acts like your pulling the lanyard, but it always starts right back up...bad ground or electrical problem? or could it be carbs? I think it is a bad connection on the lanyard post, but not sure, because sometimes i have to wiggle it around for it to beep...does that sound like a bad lanyard or the post it plugs on to?Comment
