Live in the upper midwest. Last fall had the machine professionally winterized. Over the last weekend, we de winterized the machine and ran it out on the water. Noticed significant lack of power. After 10 minute warm up, pulled the machine up onto the lift and investigate. Noticed 4"-6" water in the hull. Drained, examined all connections and tried again. Same result. Is there a water intake located on the bottom side that can become disengaged or a valve break?

fill the hull up with water a couple of inches and see if you can find the leak.

you can also take it for a spin with the seat off and look for a leak.

I am assuming you have the regular gsx with the 787 in it. Make sure your water line clamps are tight. There are 2 water fittings on the Opposite side of the intake on the back of the cylinder. These connect and go to a T. Make sure they are in place. Other than that make sure the water is not coming from the pipe water lines or from the water lines on the head.

Hopefully the winterization was done correctly, and you haven't cranked your pie, manifold and/or cylinder. Freeze damage from improper winterization is very common.
