Just about finished with the first tank of gas.
when I excerlate my ski, it swiftly goes from 3800 rpms to 4600 rpms but I can't run in the middle. At 4600 rpms if I back off the throttle a hair it will drop down to 3700 rpms and vice-versa.

    Any comments?

Is this your first time riding it? That ski has RAVE valves, and that is normal operation. When the valves open, your power and RPMs jump up.

First time that I have been riding it and paying attention to what it's doing.

I can either ride at 3700 rpms or 4600 but not in between, and that is normal?

its not that big of a change , it sounds like you need a little tuning . how are your plug readings ?

He's still in break-in - don't try to tune for another tank or so.

                  Thanks Tech.

                  Hi Chris.

Plugs are black, but I'm still running the 32:1 ratio. I'm almost complete with the tank of gas.

I'm still working on the "hook to the right" problem I will reseal the pump support this week since that is the only thing I took off. Funny how I don't cavitate anymore but now the ski is unstable at 5000 rpms
