  • restart question?

the ski starts up fine when it's cold, it runs great. if i turn it off and hang out for a while its hard restarting.

once it starts, if i touch the throttle to accel. it stalls. if i idle for a couple of min's, i can slowly accel. and get up to speed, then it runs great again?

it just started to happen out of the blue, any ideas? thanks

I would look at the carbs possibly for a ripped diaphram but I would definatly say it is carb related.

it's possible this is the cause, did you ever rebuild them?

Also check the needles and seats as it could be those leaking and flooding the motor with gas between rides. You could try turning the gas off between rides to see if the problem goes away.

It also sounds like the internal filters in the carbs are dirty (won't accellerate correctly) besides having leaky needles. Rebuild the carbs.
