  • Flushing Oil Tank

I just purchased a 97 SeaDoo SPX and received a gallon of oil the previous owner was using in it. The problem is, it is SeaDoo Mineral Oil. According to my manual you are supposed to use SP-X oil in this engine. Do you think the engine was damaged by the wrong oil? It runs O.K. and has high compression (150PSI, 155PSI).
I guess my question is this, is there an easy way to flush the mineral oil out and install the SP-X oil? Do I need to worry about air pockets in my oil lines? If anone has any links to pictures on how to do this please let me know. I also want to replace the oil pickup and fuel filters in this unit.

Both those oils are fine, the XPS-II will just keep your RAVEs cleaner longer. Just use as much in your tank as you can and refill.
