  • engine timer clock wont turn off

    hey guys
    99 gtx ltd 951. battery will discharge
    if i leave it connected. hour meter continues
    to run. what do i need to replace ? is it that
    $350 part in the hull ???

    Bill may have seen this before, I haven't. The MPEM is the only part I would guess.

        412 hours to 514 hours is what i remember.
        it got this problem when i bought it so i have been disconnecting the battery. new sbt motor with bill's filter and jet kit so this is the only thing broken [img]smile.gif[/img] . cant remember what dealer said back in oct., black box in the hull???

          It is called an MPEM.

          Why not just buy a smart charger from Walmart for $34.00 and keep the battery charged up?

            i guess when i sell this thing i dont want it to show 10,000 hours [img]graemlins/crying.gif[/img] will a new mpem
            fix this ?? thanks
