  • Help!!!!!!!!

Adjusting the cable will not effect a backfiring problem. It may just be a little too lean when you start the motor, or it could be something else altogether. Try richening the low speed adjusters a little.

Ok, i pulled the carbs and can't find anything wrong.NOTE, the carbs are still off.

I am still backfiring at initial startup everyday, but the **** thing runs great after that. Seriousley, i let it warm up for about 5 miniutes and it runs like a raped ape.

I have been told RV or cover.

But if the timing was messed up or the cover was shot, wouldn't it run like crap all the time?

    Just curious

I'll pull the cover, but i can't see that as the problem

    Thanks in advance

i adjusted the trhottle cable, and yes there is some slack in there......how much slack though?

Could i be dumping gas in the cylinders if it's not adjusted right?

I can't get my head down there to see if the butterflys are opening right...what, you need a mirror and flashlight for that to?.......LOL
