What were you turning?
Actually I would be concerened with the missing chunk.
This is still under warranty right? I can authorize you to pull the head for inspection - to see if you have any piston damage. If so we need to swap it with you.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Could me of riding it with that valve not working done that?
I mean i'm not out to screw you guys or anything, i would just like to know what would cause that to break.
And, whats the next step, can i yank the head, or just ride it until it seizes......just kidding.....LOL

I got the head off and i think i found the problem. The 2 orings around the cylinders were mashed and it appears it was seeping water. The cylinder walls look ok, except on the pto side...just a tad of orange, but it was smooth. Pistons look ok to.
You think i'll be alright, and can you replace those orings, or do i have to send the motor back or get them myself?
