    whats top speed of 96 gsx with the 787cc

    being that my dad wont let me take the gos on the ski and the ski doesnt have a sspeedometer im wondering...Does anyone kno the top speed of a 96 seadoo gsx? Myr frend keeps insisting it dusnt go faster then 60 but i definetly think hes wrong? i think actually i hope. please if anybody knos any websited that can tell u top speeds of skis or any info pages like that it would help or if anyone knows about how fats it should go THNXS,Eric

      tha cant be right cuz i raced my frend with a kawasaki 1100 stx and recked him hes speedometer was readin 62 and his gps was readin 60???

        Then his GPS was wrong, he lied, or you don't have a stock 1996 GSX.

          i had my impeller repitched and rejetted carbs i use 94 octane and i have milled head

            If that's all you did you only improved your top end 1-2 MPH tops.

                      he jus had carbs rebuilt 2 weeks ago he is a clean freak his hull is sparkling evrything on his ski is 100% maybe ure underestimating my ski??

                          I have a 98gsxl with the 951,flame arestor,bored.020, milled head,and a rejet. I might run 59mph, with about 2 gallons of gas. The wind blowing against my back, on smooth water. I only weigh 150 lbs. Speed feels alot faster on the water than on land.

                            my 97 XP with the 787 hits about 55-56 on a good day....if i'm lucky, 58

                            Chop, it may hit 50-52
