Jet Pump Oil Capacity

I changed the jet pump oil on my 97SPX and noticed on the SeaDoo oil bottle it says you can get arouind 3 oil changes from it. I completely drained the pump overnight and when I filled it to the plug hole, I noticed I had used at least half a bottle or possibly a little more. Did I use too much? I am certain I won't get 3 oil changes from this bottle, mabey not even 2.

Older sea-doos used less pump oil. I don't think you can put too much if you don't remove the pump from the hull because the hole is not directly on the top of the cone.

There is never a need to remove the pump, and disregard that label on the bottle, it's BS.

if i've already removed the pump to align the engine how much pump oil should i put in when i change it, up to the threads with the pump horizontal(like it would be inthe boat?
