  • 720 rotary valve

i thought that the rotary valve's timing of 159' was set up to work with the ignition system. rossier has a rotary valve that has 155' degree opening. how does this work without effection the timing? is this something that would offer benifits without costing reliability?

It does complememt the ignition timing, but altering the opening duration of the intake timing produces a differnt powerband. Some people say it made a slight improvement. Persoanlly, I wouldn't use any valve other than the ultra hardened steel that the OEM is made of.

Stay with the OEM RV that is meant for your engine and electrical box. They are only about $16.00

The RV alternitives bring very little performance increase to the table and have a short life in most applications.
