Crank Gear Lubrication?

Is there supposed to be some type of oil between the counter shaft balance gear and the crank shaft gear? Another words, how is that part of the crank case lubricated?

It's lubricated by the injection oil, same as the bearings.

What year model motor? A 951 has it's own gear oil that needs to be filled when assembling the engine.
