Cracked Venturi nozzle

I'm trying to get this boat ('96 XP) back together and I keep discovering more small problems. The lastest is a crack in the venturi nozzle (propulsion system part #17) in the hole that the trim ring/steering nozzle bolts into. (It's the hole that the plastic insert (trim system part #35) goes in---cracked on the edge of the hole closest to the back of the venturi.) It is not cracked all the way through (yet) but the bushing is loose compared to the side that is not cracked. I can't spread the hole apart to get epoxy into the crack. Any ideas how to fix this without buying a new $70 venturi?

I would say don't try the cheap way out and fix it with a new part, instead of risking future, more expensive, repairs.
