motor ground cable

can i use the top bolt on my starter to mount my ground cable? thanks

You can bolt it on there.... Check condition of connector/ earth lead, poor connections will cause slow cranks speeds, high rpm miss fires and total system shut down..... I know it happened to me.. (salt water corroded the earth lead away and fell off).. NOTE, The gauges, D.E.S.S, igniton ignitor all earth through the mag housing wiring to the earth lead...
