  • Checking voltage

My freind has 2000 gtx di 110 and it goes through batteries. so I want to check it for voltage. I was just wondering if you get the correct reading when battery is connected (13.8v) and engine running

Placing a float charger onto the battery when not using the ski will solve alot of battery related problems.

Harbor Freight has them for $9.95.......

If this problem continues...you may want to think about installing an actual switch on the Positive feed from the battery. When your done doo-ing for the day just flip the switch...you dont have to worry about a battery drain. Im not sure if it would effect the info center on your model though.... just a suggestion if worst comes to worst...

If you do this, DO NOT turn the switch off with the engine running. You will fry your regulator and possibly other stuff.
