  • 98 XPL Starting hard after running

My 98 XPL is in great working order excpept when after the seadoo has been run for a while, then shut off for 15 minutes, starting is a chore.

There is about 40 hours on it , and new plugs this year. Cold start is fine with a little choke. Compression is bang on 150 psi. All other operation is fine. Jumps out of the hole and still goes about 63 mph.

Could this be carberator tuning? If so,how should I adjust it?

Turn your low-speed screws out 1/8th a turn.

      Thanks,

I will get out my manual and locate them, then give it a try.
