• HX PTO removal???

I am having a bear of a time removing the PTO on my HX motor. I have a chain wrench, and oxy/act torches. I tried heating the end of the crankshaft, tried PB blaster, and tried the chain wrench. I am turing it counter clockwise as per the seadoo tech manual and I am getting no where. Can someone give me a hint or trick. Someone suggested dry ice??

Use more leverage - we use a 6' pipe and hang a guy off the end

Okay what is the best way to hold the crankshaft?? Can I mount it into a large bench vise without damaging it. If so where is the best place to clamp it??

If the crank is out you need to clamp it on one of the webs.

When the pto's are that tight, I use an acetelene torch to heat the pto until it turns brown.
