  • Bill help ???

I'm the same one who bought that aftermarket rev limiter from you used.I changed the plugs from br7es to br8es,would this affect my ski on bottom end-because now once it warms up it don't jump out the whole any more(like it did before)but once it gets up speed a little it takes off fine.Would the plug difference make it change like that?what are the plugs suppose to be gaped at?One more thing,it sounds different out the exhaust?just don't sound like it did.The ski still hauls *** on top end but feels weak and restricted out the hole-I don't think its cavitating.

Did you try adjust the lows in or out a bit?

    .024-.028 gap will work.

No I did not change or tune on low jet.The only reason I put these plugs in is because thats what I thought I had in it to begin with(my fault for not checking)I think the best thing to do would be put the br7es plugs back in and see if it takes off and sounds right,if so then I will know to tune the low jet when I put the hotter plug in.I really didn't know what gap was either(I think they were probably set at 40(I know way to much)but would just the wrong plugs and gap make the motor sound completly different out the exhaust?

Put BR7ES gapped at .024 in there.
