  • 96 XP Starting Probs

It seems every 96XP I get my hands on starts when it feels like it , almost like it isn't getting enough amps from the battery.

At times it will turn over and never start , I charge the battery , re-install and poof she is going. It seems to happen with most 96XP's I have gotten.

Anything anyone knows that can help I would love to hear from ya

All Sea-Doo's have very picky electrical systems, and are especially prone to slightly low batteries and any problems with the wires. Make sure allt he wire ends are corrosion-free and tightly secured, and it helps to use a battery-tender while the ski is stored between rides.

      I disagree.
When the starter motors, rectifiers, mpems, and needle valves are all in good shape, they start fine. Worn out boats are problematic, no matter what brand they are.
