  • vibration after running wot 3 mins...

A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO A PIECE OF WOOD JAMED IN MY PROP AND EVER SINCE THEN I NOTICED A LITTLE VIBRATION BUT NOW IT SEEMS TO GET WORSE AFTER RUNNING WOT FOR SEVERAL MIN.IF I IDLE FEW MIN AND TAKE OFF IT DON'T SEEM TO DO IT UNTIL WOT FOR FEW MINUTES.I LOOKED IN PUMP HOUSING AND DID NOT SEE DAMAGE AND LOOKED AT THE SHAFT AND ITS NOT, OR SEEMS TO NOT BE BENT.ONE THING I DO NOTICE IS THAT PROP IS LOOSE ON SHAFT(HAS SLACK TWISTING SIDE TO SIDE).ANY SUGGESTIONS???

Take it all out and do a proper inspection - you probably have a bad bearing.

My guess would be something is bent, either an impellor blade or the driveshaft or both. It is close to impossible that you did not bend something if a stick was jammed into the pump at speed.
