  • Supercharger Problem??

I have 20 hours on my 2003 SC. At about 11 hours, I tried a short "high speed" run with one passenger and myself, half tank of gas and a calm lake. I reached 90 KM/H (about 55 MPH) at almost full throttle. As posted in another thread, the engine has been consuming 1 litre of oil every 6 hours or so and tonight I was only able to reach 80 KM/H (49MPH) indicated on the speedo. Maximum RPM was 6,900 - 7,000.

I'm starting to think I might have a supercharger problem. Does anyone have any experience with the two symptoms (oil consumption and poor top end performance)??

    Thanks

It's a known problem. Take it to your dealer and they can order the replacement, upgraded supercharger parts. You are essencially running without boost right now, and burning oil through the supercharger.
