  • 675 motor parts?

I acquired a "project" watercraft this weekend, a 1995 SPi. Motor has been taken part. Flywheel/mag box says its a 657. Just want to make sure. Cylinders have 6912280 stamped on them. Head has 6913700. Bottom case has 6810062. Any assistance in determining if these are from a 657 or 580 motor would be appreciated.

Look at the cooling lines on the head. If there is atiny pisser on the top and a single line out the right side, it's a 580. If two lines out the back it's a 657. It had a 580 stock but the housings are interchangeable.

Thank you. The head has two large water outlets , directed to the rear. With respect to the crank, and cases, any way to confirm they are for a 657? Cylinders - what's the bore size difference between 580cc and 657cc motors? Again, thank you. Jim

The components are not interchangeable, you have a 657.
