  • Pipe getting hot

I've got a 97 seadoo xp which I just put a Rossier pipe on. After riding for a short time I stop to check everything out and the pipe was hot enough to boil water. After putting it on the trailer I stater it up and both water hoses going to the pipe are getting water. What can I do to keep it from getting so hot. Only the pipe is getting hot and the motor is fine. I'm using the jets thet came with the pipe. What will happen if I take the jets out.

Check to see that the hose from the water regulator is going to the pipe fitting that actually feeds the inside of the exhaust pipe, and not going to the fitting that lets the air out of the pipes' waterjackets. That fitting should be connected to the hose that goes overboard.
